1. Develop a daily habit!
2. Improvise on everything!
3. Learn with a Metronom!
3. Though it is important to develop your inner beat, the metronom has serveral advantages. It forces you to pace through different literatur and develops your side reading skills.
Here is another reason of why learning with a metronom is so important

The point is that Rhythm draws attention if it is not done right. Wrong notes, nobody cares; it actually sounds interesting.
The examples demonstrate this very well.

How to play fast?
When I was a kid, I always wanted to play as first as possible. This following video gives a good advice on how to achieve that:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aKVLXDS4De0
it is about a specific progression, where the thumb has to be imagined already in the next position, so that your change of position is not noticeable.
Another thing is to only play the beats, and memorize those.

List: Songs that I would like to learn and that I can do
Jazz Standards
Extended List
1. Charlie Brown (die Pianoguys), 75%
Notes: Has drive, good foundation for improvistations, standardrepertoire
2. Piano Man (Billy Joel) (80 Percent)
Notes: Good background for Parties
Details
The Autumn Leaves
So let me summarize what I want to be able to play:
The repitive movements are quite beautyful, and it creates a great mood. Moreover, it has so much creativity and never loses its internal development. Great work: I wish one day I were able to do this.
The smooth piano sound seems to be doable, I only need a teacher who guides me slowly into the matter. What I lack is the creativity of connections:

The Autumn Leaves
- "chord progression consists almost solely of ii-V-I and ii-V, typical for jazz
- Its iim7 – V7 – IMaj7 – IVMaj7 – ii7(b5) – V7 – im chord progression is an example of the circle-of-fifths progression.[16]

Piano Idols: Wakeman vs. Rudess, Jacob Collier (Blues, Jazz, Genius)
Wakeman vs. Rudess
I actually don't know why Wakeman is so slow. I also wonder what this is about, only about one rhythm and some speed-shit? It is better, when Jordan Rudess explains some of his music
